House Blend Chisel Maduro (Frank's Cigars, Hamilton, NJ)

Locals know...When you go to Frank's for cigars, you gotta walk out with some of the house blends! Frank's Cigars has a decent-sized stock of premium cigars from all of the major manufacturers, but has one full humidor cabinet dedicated to their house blend, ranging in various vitolas and wrappers, including some Habano, Maduro, and Connecticut blends. All are Dominican puros - the chisel-tipped maduro is made from tobacco aged a minimum of 7-8 years. They are very well-constructed, burn beautifully, and have a great flavor profile.

Eiroa by CLE (CLE Cigar Company)

These Honduran puros were initially released in 2013 at the annual International Premium Cigar & Pipe ratailers (IPCPR) trade show. Each carefully crafted cigar pays tribute to the Eiroa family, a cigar brand with a legacy 100 years in the making. The band represents Eiroa's homage to his heritage that started with his grandfather and spans 100 years of love for making cigars. Each box and each cigar features the old Spanish saying, “Salud, Amor y Pesetas” which is translated to “Health, Love and Wealth.” One of the 10 cigars included in the Cigar Rights of America (CRA) Sampler #7 is the Eiroa Robusto - the purchase of which grants a complimentary 1-year individual membership to the CRA.

The Tatuaje Black is a limited edition Nicaraguan puro that was manufactured by My Father Cigars in Estelí, but blended by Pete Johnson initially as a private reserve brand that he would give away at special Tatuaje events. In 2011, it was released to consumers, but only as a limited release. It features a limited sun-grown Criollo wrapper, and is also featured as one of the 10 cigars in the CRA Sampler #7. Otherwise, tough to find these anywhere...
