Today, Fred Rewey of Nomad Cigar Company announced the release of the new Nomad SA-17. Nine months after the company's last release (Nomad Therapy), Rewey states that the SA-17 will be ready for sale tomorrow, May 18 and he fully expects the first shipment to sell out prior to the upcoming International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers Association (IPCPR) trade show in July.

The new Nomad SA-17 is manufactured by AJ Fernandez, and is blended with a Mexican San Andres wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan filler (Estelí and Condega ligero). Rewey claims that it took him many years to fully comprehend how the San Andres wrapper tobacco ages and blends with other tobaccos, and seems to be extraordinarily proud of the results of this particular blend. He claims that it will be a medium-full cigar and the flavor profile to be likened to the Nomad C-276 with the added richness of the San Andres wrapper.

The Nomad SA-17 will comes in a 21-count box and will be available in four vitolas: Toro (6" x 50); Robusto (5" x 50); “Shorty” (4" x 56); and Corinita (5½" x 46).
