June 9, 2016 (Las Vegas, NV) - Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa has launched the ultimate whiskey and cigar experience at Onyx Bar. Located across from T-bones Chophouse, the revamped bar and lounge now features an upscale beverage program specializing in bourbon, whiskey and scotch, along with fine cigars, allowing guests to indulge in the perfect pairing.
Onyx Bar showcases its modern design with an upscale layout in a welcoming atmosphere, including all-new furnishings. The venue features bar and lounge seating where guests can enjoy the property's four diamond service, one-of-a-kind barrel-aged whiskeys and classic hand-picked cigars, making it a great destination for a variety of occasions. A private VIP room with seating for 10 guests is also available.
The bar and lounge offers a full-service menu, with an emphasis on bourbon, whiskey and scotch selections. The menu lists more than 70 varieties from around the world including an assortment of bourbon and rye, single-malt scotch, blended whiskies from the U.S., Canada, France, Japan and Taiwan, to name a few, and experimental whiskey flights. Guests can also enjoy a distinctive barrel-aged Tennessee blend of whiskey, only available at Red Rock Resort. In addition, guests can pair their fine spirits with a collection of handcrafted cigars such as Padron Family Reserve 50 Years Maduro and Oliva Serie V Melanio Figurado, featured on Cigar Aficionado's list of Top 25 cigars.
Guests can also get whisked away with signature cocktails at Onyx Bar. Highlights include Barreled Bubbles (Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Aperol liqueur, prosecco); Spicy Devil (Jim Beam Devils Cut Bourbon, St. Germain liqueur, red apple, mango puree); Blood & Sand (Johnnie Walker Black, fresh orange juice, Cinzano sweet vermouth, luxardo morlacco cherry, optional float of mezcal); Carnivale (Augusta Cachaca, Aperol, Funkin Brazilian, fresh lemon sour); Dumpster Fire (Stoli Razberri, fresh lime juice, gomme syrup, raspberries) and much more. Beer, champagne and wine selections are available as well.
Onyx Bar is open nightly, Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
