A new Davidoff walk-in humidor is set to open in the main duty-free shop in Frankfurt International airport.
Oettinger Davidoff and Heinemann to open new Frankfurt walk-in humidor
Swiss cigar supplier Oettinger Davidoff AG is to open a new 15sq m walk-in humidor in the Heinemann Duty Free Z-main duty-free shop at Frankfurt International Airport in December [2015].
The 15 [square-meter] walk-in humidor will be modelled on the standard international design for “Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911”. The exclusive interior design of the walk-in humidor, with its fine timbers and natural materials in earthy tones, are reminiscent of the colour of the cigars, according to the company, which has been in partnership with Gebr Heinemann for 40 years.
In addition to a huge selection from the entire range of Davidoff products, aficionados will find cigars from well-known brands Camacho, Griffin’s and Zino. The new walk-in humidor will protect the quality of the cigars while ensuring they are stored under the optimal humidity conditions. Customers will also be able to purchase Cuban specialities and exotic products. In addition, Davidoff Cigars has created an exclusive Heinemann Travel Retail Limited Cigar Edition that will be available to purchase in the new humidor. Visitors which do not own their own humidor will have an opportunity to win one following the opening.
