Habanos S.A. presents H. Upmann Magnum 54 (ring gauge 54 x 120 mm long), a brand-new vitola that joins the brand’s regular portfolio and stands for the third vitola within the Magnum Line, following the classic Magnum 46 and the recent Magnum 50, launched in 2008.
The new Magnum 54 features a refined and elegant blend of mild character, with the soft-to-mild strength that characterizes the brand.
The origin of the H. Upmann brand dates back to the first half of the 19th century and it was named after German banker Herman Upmann, founder of a bank and a habanos factory in 1844. The bank closed, but the brand has lived out to date, eventually becoming one of most important international habano brands.
All of the H. Upmann-branded cigars have been Totally Rolled by Hand with Long Filler, with leaves handpicked in Vuelta Abajo* -the best tobacco region in the world– in the region of Pinar del Rio*, Cuba.
