Today, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducted a “Live Q&A Webinar for Retailers Who Sell Newly Regulated Tobacco Products,” which streamed at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The webinar was designed to address retailer concerns regarding compliance with the new “deeming rule,” which extends FDA authority over tobacco products of all kinds, including premium cigars and pipe tobacco.
